The No. 10 mill replaced the No. 1/2 mill in the Van Norman line up. According to Ken Cope, the No. 1/2 was introduced around 1911 and was replaced by the No. 10 by 1927. There are some pictures of both machines on the Yahoo group, which might help you with getting it back together.
